ASDAN
From September 2024, Little Margate Therapy Centre are delighted to be able to offer short courses through ASDAN. 'ASDAN is an education charity and awarding organisation providing courses, accredited curriculum programmes and regulated qualifications to engage, elevate and empower young people aged 11 to 25 years with diverse needs.' (www.asdan.org).
Led by Amy who has years of experience within schools, and working with learner with diverse needs, we hope that by offering these short courses we can help individuals start to reach their full potential. By offering the ASDAN short courses we are able to offer a choice of active courses that uses imaginative ways of developing, and assessing the knowledge, skills and confidence of young people
The main course that we will be offering is the short course in Animal Care but there is also the opportunity for us to offer other courses such as English, Mathematics and Science. These courses can accredit between 10 and 60 hours of learning activities. The hours and modules covered are agreed on an individual basis.
